Finally on yet another plane are the worlds of Svartalfheim, Muspelheim, and Hel. Connecting the two worlds of Asgard and Midgard is the Bifrost. Earth is a round celestial land mass orbiting a small star. Unlike other celestial realms in other religions, Asgard wasn’t a part of the cosmos in its beginning. Midgard is not influenced by any others, and because of this, the most stable of the realms. These two worlds are separated only by the giant serpent, Jormungand. Their is 9 realms mate, they are Asgard, Jotunheim, vanaheim, svartelheim, alfheim, Midgard, muspelheim, Niflheim and helheim apologies for my potentially HORRIFIC spelling. However, on this or another very close is Jotunheim. On its own plane exists Midgard, or earth, which is the middle world. This mass has a clearly determined topside, where the civilizations are situated. More worlds popped up on the branches, like Asgard and Vanaheim, home to the Aesir and Vanir tribes of gods respectively, with Aesir gods representing war, and. These more peaceful places exist on a flat, asteroid-like platform. One plane houses Asgard, Vanaheim, Alfheim, and Nidavellir. Vanaheim: The world of the Vanir tribe of gods and goddesses. Asgard: The world of the gods and goddesses. Around the tree, there are the additional worlds of Hel, and Heven (Heaven).Īround the tree, there are many planes of reality, containing the divisions of realms. The Nine Worlds Midgard: The world of humanity. These Nine Worlds are Asgard, Vanaheim, Nidavellir, Midgard, Alfheim, Svartalfheim, Jotunheim, Muspelheim, and Niffleheim. Yggdrasil, or the Celestial Axis, is the giant tree supporting the Nine Realms.
